CIE Heads for EUROBIKE 2022

CIE’s programme at Eurobike has no less than six different themes, each bringing together different partnerships. The peak gathering will be the return of CIE’s Leaders’ Breakfast, a must-attend event for company presidents, CEOs, senior managers and partners, such as CONEBI, ECF, ADFC and ZIV, picking up on the key advocacy and political needs of the industry. Cargo bikes and cycle logistics have their own dedicated programme over three days, joined by sessions hosted by the industry’s top thinkers on sustainability, innovation, supply chains, and gender diversity. CCCB Final Conference

Cargo Bike Day 14th July at Eurobike

Improving the quality of urban life has been a key objective of the CityChangerCargoBike (CCCB) project.  Supported by the EU’s Horizon2020 programme, CCCB has raised awareness and supported the uptake of cargo bikes and cargo bike initiatives with 20 partners from around Europe, 15 of which are cities. The high level of participation of cities in the project, as well as their incredible implementation successes – highlights of which will be presented at the Cargo Bike Day (14th July 2022) at Eurobike in Frankfurt – shows that these cities have truly understood that cargo bikes are the fastest, most cost-effective mobility option to transition towards a sustainable future!

During the project lifetime three “European Market Size Surveys” and two “European Cargo Bike Operators Industry Surveys” have been conducted. The latest results of which will be presented at Eurobike 2022.

Women in Cycling Networking Breakfast

Join us at Women In Cycling Networking Breakfast on Friday 15 July at 8AM, Hall 8 (Registration is required for this event)

Women in Cycling is focusing on the topic of Recruiting in 2022; how do we enable greater diversity in the cycling sector, what steps do companies and organizations need to take, how can we encourage career changers, and how do we work together to make the cycling sector more attractive to women.

The main focus of the breakfast will be on networking. We will have short impulses from the speakers and exchange views on the respective perspective (employer, employee, recruiter) while enjoying a delicious breakfast. We plan to change tables three times in order to talk to as many women as possible.

The event is hosted by Women in Cycling and supported by Women in Mobility. It will be a women-only (including trans and non-binary persons) event and it is not possible to participate digitally, only on-site. In Partnership with SRI Executive, Jobrad, Nextbike and Velokonzept.
