A world-class cycling industry boosts European competitiveness
This year, we are proud to partner with the Benelux Union. Known for its world-leading cycling businesses and infrastructure, Benelux played a pivotal role in the 2020 Benelux Cycling Declaration, which united 16 European governments in support of cycling and laid the groundwork for the EU Declaration on Cycling.
Now, they are consulting with stakeholders across the sector to add industry, technology, and employment dimensions to their original declaration. The CIE 2024 Summit will showcase how these initiatives can serve as a living laboratory for a competitive and sustainable cycling ecosystem that delivers employment and sustainability across Europe.
