Urvis Bikes who offer pay as you go e-cargo bike rentals, Cargoroo who operates an E-cargo bike sharing fleet and finally GEWI, who provide traffic and traveller information services to road agencies, public authorities and commercial service providers.

Find out more about our new members below and get inspired and find out reasons why you should join CIE too! More details about joining can be found here.

Spoke

Spoke is dedicated to protecting the most vulnerable on our roadways by connecting them to the traffic participants and mobility ecosystem around them. Spoke ensures that bikes see cars and cars see bikes before the naked eye can detect them.

Spoke is orchestrating state-of-the-art technologies with market-leading partners to deliver a digital IoT ecosystem that connects bicycle and other light mobility manufacturers with their customers, optimizing first-of-its-kind C-V2X and 5G/LTE solutions with context aware intelligence to provide a new peace of mind on our daily rides, commutes and adventures. Spokeware allows OEMs and consumers to custom tailor the combination of hardware and user features. Applications such as VRU2X™ traffic notifications, safer route navigation, security services, and ride, health and fitness experiences, along with Spoke’s game-changing, vulnerable road user-sized connected computing, display, cameras and lights, complete a transportation ecosystem that puts bicyclists on the map.

Urvis Bikes

Urvis offers pay-monthly eCargo bike as service - with individual customization, management software, full guarantee and maintenance within. It is a true game changer for courier, food delivery or logistic companies and small entrepreneurs operating inside the cities. Electric cargo bikes deliver 60% faster than vans in urban centres and cut emissions by 90% compared with diesel vans and by a 1/3 compared with electric vans.

CARGOROO

The missing link in shared mobility. Scooters and bikes are great, until you need more–more seats, more space, more capacity, E-cargo bike sharing offers a cost-efficient, eco-friendly, hassle-free and fun way to handle any cargo needs.

Cargoroo operates with the electric cargo bike from Urban Arrow, which is the best there is at the moment but to purchase is the price of a good used car. With Cargoroo, we make the electric cargo bike accessible to everyone. Leave the car parked and feel the liberation these bikes provide. It is important for Cargoroo to remove barriers which might prevent usage. Hence a low rate and no subscription costs. Cargoroo currently operates fleets of shared e-cargo bikes in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK.

GEWI

Founded in 1992, GEWI has been providing solutions for traffic and traveller information services to road agencies, public authorities and commercial service providers. GEWI’s TIC software platform, in wide use globally, provides many solutions for road traffic information, work zone management, incident management and services to support in vehicle navigation systems using global standards.

Recently launched TIC for Cycling can capture information about problems affecting a route cycle from a whole range of sources including crowd-sourced information, sensors, and weather data service providers. The solution enables mobility agencies to manage cycleways and paths and gives them the ability to inform, in real-time, cyclists and other users about any issues which may have an impact on cycling.
