CIE gears up for the annual EUROBIKE conference in Frankfurt – we’ve outlined the three key events you won’t want to miss out on, so mark your calendars and be sure to join us!
Industry Leaders’ Breakfast
When: Thursday, 22 June 9-10:30AM
The Industry Leaders’ Breakfast returns to the Eurobike stage on Thursday, 22 June at 9AM. The Industry Leaders’ Breakfast is marked as the top event for industry leaders providing inspiration and strategic oversights for CEOs, Presidents and directors in the bike sector. This is the 10th edition of CIE leadership event at Eurobike, with our proven track record for bringing together industry leaders to exchange on the main topics for growing the industry of the future.
And this year is a special one, because working with the EU Parliament and Commission we are designing an EU Cycling Strategy that could double the current level of cycling in the EU and create a million new jobs in our sector. With this extraordinary opportunity for the bike industry our 2023 Summit will update attendees on what the announcement of this new EU cycling policy means, what has been achieved for the industry in the last year and highlight the critical topics on the policy agenda. Policies, tax breaks, sustainability, supply chains, access to raw materials, battery regulations, billions of Euros in new infrastructure–all these are on the table, and now is the time for companies to make their voices heard - register here!
Women in Cycling Networking Breakfast
When: Friday, 23 June 8-10AM*
How can we support women working already in the industry? How can we attract more diverse talents to work in the industry? How can we make sure that the industry provides good circumstances and equal opportunities for women?
In cooperation with Young Mobility Network, Women in Cycling returns to Eurobike for the Women in Cycling Networking Breakfast on Friday, 23 June from 8-10AM at EUROBIKE (in Frankfurt/Main). Similar to last year's edition, breakfast and intellectual input (pop-up speakers) will be provided – however, the main focus will be on networking – be sure to bring your business cards or your LinkedIn QR-Code! Read more and register here.
*Due to venue restrictions, EUROBIKE Exhibitors are welcome from 8AM and non-exhibitors are welcome from 9AM.
The Big Sustainability Event
When: Friday, 23 June 10AM-12PM
The cycling industry is facing new and unprecedented challenges in the field of sustainability. We are confronted with climate emergency and environmental crisis, on top of shifting global economic and political trends. New EU policy developments are requiring companies to conform to new international standards on transparency and traceability, including batteries, critical raw materials, packaging, carbon tariffs, and digital services. Ambitious, stricter rules on environmental reporting and performance are swiftly changing the regulatory landscape.
How can we tackle the challenges and navigate in the changing regulatory landscape? How can we work together as an industry and take action?
Many companies aspire to be at the forefront of the green transition, working hard to come up with solutions. Come and join the debate at the Cycling Industries Sustainability Panel – read more and register here!
