Featuring the leading role of cycling in Europe’s green recovery

Top industry leaders will take to the virtual stage on Thursday 22 April 3PM CEST, alongside senior EU officials to show the leading role of cycling businesses in European green recovery and growth. Cycling Industries Europe’s 2021 Summit will show how cycling is driving European growth in recovery, jobs, new mobilities and digitalization.

We have a great line up of speakers starting with keynotes and the Portuguese presidency with Pedro Siza Vieria, Minister of State, Economy & Digital Transition, followed by Deputy Director-General of the European Commission, Leader of the 100 Climate-neutral Cities by 2030 initiative Matthew Baldwin, Managing Director of Wuppertal Institute Manfred Fischedick and Cycling Industries Europe CEO Kevin Mayne.

For the first time ever, we will have a CEO Panel featuring the leaders of the world’s top cycling companies, sharing how the industry has become one of the sectors that has led the world during the pandemic and is now planning to lead the post-pandemic green transition in Europe. The panel will feature Ton Anbeek, CEO of Accell Group, Tony Grimaldi, CEO of Cycleurope and President of CIE, Irwin Wouts, Bicycle Sports & Urban Mobility Leader from Decathlon and Erdem Ovacik, Founder and CEO of Donkey Republic.
