Müge Yorgancı graduated from Yıldız Technical University’s City and Regional Planning Department with distinction. She holds a second undergraduate degree in Art Management. She received her master’s degree in Urban Design and Spatial Organization from Yıldız Technical University. Her thesis is titled "The Meaning of Green Neighbourhood Criterias in Terms of Urban Regeneration Practices in Sustainable Development Framework". During her master’s she also worked on an academic research project on real-estate. The project was funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Urbanism at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She is also a lecturer in the Architecture Department at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University and teaches in urban design. She conducted projects on strategic planning, participatory urban planning models, game design, and cycling cities. She worked as an expert on project cycle management and participation processes at BİMTAŞ, a partner organization of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. She is working on Participatory Democratic Management Policies at the Istanbul Vision 2050 Office. https://vizyon2050.istanbul/en
