I am a bicycle activist since ever, and for this reason I tried to let it became my job. Since 2010 I lead group of cyclists through the Southern Italy (Puglia and Basilicata). I am a touristic guide and a nature guide, and my core business is leading people cycling or walking. I have worked a lot in schools teaching children how to take care about their bikes; about environmental soustainability; I tried out some "bike to school" project, which remained isolated experiments, because nobody here believe in this kinds of change so I never got the support of the local administration. I am goig to open a little bike rent (we are in a National Park, here), the first in my town. I bought some bikes, and I am goig to see what happens! Leading tours I won an award in 2016 https://www.exodus.co.uk/leader-awards-2016#:~:text=WINNER%3A%20Marinella%20Bozzetti,an%20exceptional%20leader%20%E2%80%93%20congratulations%20Marinella! and i have been choosen for the "Puglia and Basilicata" adv for the same toru operator https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CwXlnelXYw
I am mother of two little girls and I am very worried about what I am teaching them and what kind of opportunity this society gives them! Sinche a couple of weeks i bought a bike trailer and we're trying to avoid to take the car for all our daily movements: it seems unbelievable, but in a place like the one where we live, we really started a little green and silently revolution, we'll see what happens!
For a long period I have also been an artisan making bags with bicycle and sofa leftovers (we live in a place where sofas industry is well developed) I am doing this job a little less in the last two- three years because of tourism and kids, but you can still see my job here: https://www.facebook.com/Le-V%C3%A9lo-1558117941072916
