Karly Coleman

I have been involved in cycling advocacy and support since 1993, working with various groups including but not limited to Edmonton Bicycle Commuters, Alberta Bicycle Association, and the Alberta Bikes Conference Series. I am CanBike Instructor-trained. My research areas include investing how people form attachment to bicycles (Coleman 2015, Masters thesis), and how people speak and write about other people in relation to bike infrastructure (Coleman, Doctoral research, ongoing). I am the cycling subject matter expert for Everactive Schools in Edmonton.
