I'm a Transport Planner passionate about Sustainable Mobility and cycling. I work in the Sustainable Transport and Travel division of Systra LTD with experience in Mobility Management, Smarter Travel behavioural change programmes and a strong background in Transport Modelling.
In the last 2 years and a half I have been involved in the Women on Wheels research project aiming to investigate the reasons behind the gender-gap in women cycling in Dublin and in Ireland. The project was born within a multidisciplinary team of volunteer members of the Dublin Cycling Campaign. We undertook innovative qualitative and quantitative research with a focus on diversity to better understand how women engage with and experience cycling in Dublin and we are now compiling a final report. As spokesperson of the group, I presented the interim work of the team at Velo City 2019 in Dublin and more recently at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) webinars session in July 2020.
