Over 40 years working at the local, state and national levels as a transportation planner specializing in active transportation. Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the Institute of Transportation Engineers. League Certified Instructor through the League of American Bicyclists, President of Ride Illinois, Chair of C-U Safe Routes to School Project, and former Chair of the City of Urbana Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Sierra Club.
