A public health professional, a cyclist and an athlete who is dedicated to contributing to cancer & other non-communicable diseases prevention and care, by applying her technical expertise in designing, developing and delivering evidence-based training programs for healthcare providers in the field of tobacco dependence treatment, physical activity and healthy lifestyle for disease prevention.

In parallel to her work in public health field, Asma is also active in fitness field, she is a certified Pilates Instructor, a long distance cyclist, as well as a student in a calisthenics school in Jordan. She's an advocates for promoting physical activity especially among women in Jordan and the Middle east.

Asma has been selected as a UICC Young Leader for 2021-2022 (Union of International Cancer Control). Holds a Graduate Certificate in Global Tobacco Control from Bloomberg School of Public Health - Johns Hopkins University (US), and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Jordan University of Science and Technology (Jordan).
