Anna was appointed Bicycle Mayor of Amsterdam in June 2016 and has since been working to improve safety and increase adoption of bicycling. As a true Dutch girl, Anna grew up riding a bike, but she was drawn to the Bicycle Mayor program through her passion for truly human-centric cities. In 2017 she moved to Brooklyn, NY, together with her family.
Anna possesses unique qualities in inspiring and motivating people. She’s a natural presenter on bigger and smaller stages and has a savvy eye for innovation and the bigger picture. She works with entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized businesses, and corporate clients.
Areas of expertise include brainstorming, brand building, (global) marketing planning, and strategy, strategic partnerships, creative directing, digital strategies and development, consumer insights, merchandising / retail, media outreach (paid and earned), project planning, project management, events planning, and coordinating, athletes, community / membership building, leadership, speaker / panelist.
