The following exceptions apply:
- The yearly minimum fee is €1000, the maximum €100,000 (2024)
- A special rate of €500 per year for two years applies to start-ups.
- Minimum membership fees apply to larger corporations, such as new market entrants where their cycling business or European subsidiaries are part of a larger whole. Because these companies have large financial resources, we ask them to pay a fair minimum membership fee that reflects their potential benefit from the work of CIE to grow cycling in Europe and establish a favourable business environment for investment.
- The minimum is €10,000 for companies with over €500 million global turnover.
